Dean Anderson was born in Santa Rosa, California in 1961. He received his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield Illinois in 1986. Dean writes for a number of publications including Games Magazine, Focus on the Family, Lifeway Publications, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Dean has served over thirty five years in youth ministry both as a full time youth minister and as a volunteer. He's written pieces for a number of publications and the successful Bill the Warthog series for children. Dean is married to his wife, Mindy, whom he met at Trinity. They have three grown children, their son, Bret and daughters, Paige and Jill.
